Riau – PGN Solution has once again demonstrated its expertise in the energy infrastructure industry by successfully completing the construction of the Batang HO Booster Pump for PT Pertamina Gas, located in Rokan, Riau. The project was completed ahead of schedule thanks to the implementation of an effective and efficient project management strategy.

In this project, PGN Solution applied the OTOBOSOR principle (On Time, On Budget, On Scope, On Return), ensuring that the project was executed according to the set timeline, budget, and scope while delivering optimal benefits to stakeholders. The Batang HO Booster Pump serves as a key facility in channeling heavy crude oil from the Central Gathering Station (CGS), significantly increasing the flow capacity of crude oil.

The project's success was driven by PGN Solution’s acceleration strategy. By increasing the workforce and implementing a shift system, the project, initially scheduled for completion on May 14, 2025, reached mechanical completion on December 31, 2024—far ahead of the original target.

The project’s location near existing facilities and residential areas added complexity and challenges to the construction process. To ensure smooth project execution and environmental safety, PGN Solution implemented strict project management practices and high technical expertise to avoid disruptions to existing facilities and minimize the impact on the surrounding community. The intensive work pace and complex construction processes also posed unique challenges. However, through solid coordination, the use of modern construction technology, and the high commitment of the field team, the project was executed effectively.

One of the key achievements of this project was the significant increase in crude oil transportation capacity. Previously, the transportation volume was recorded at 32,800 BOPD, but after the project’s completion, the volume surged to 72,000 BOPD. This increase not only supports PT Pertamina Gas’s operations but also strengthens the national energy infrastructure. The successful completion of the Batang HO Booster Pump project further solidifies PGN Solution’s position as a competent and reliable company in the energy infrastructure construction sector. With its experience, expertise, and commitment to quality and efficiency, PGN Solution continues to contribute to the development of the national energy sector.
