PGN SOLUTION DISTRIBUTES REAL GOOD ENERGY TO JABODETABEK FLOOD VICTIMS

Jakarta, January 3rd 2020 -- Heavy rains engulfing Jakarta and surrounding areas since Tuesday (13/12) caused floods in numerous areas. Based on monitors by the National Natural Disaster Management Authority (BNPB), floods are recorded in 169 spots in Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi and Banten.

As a form of concern towards the environment as well as people in surrounding areas, as well as a form of implementing Corporate Social Responsibility, PT PGAS Solution has actively taken action in relieving the burden of flood victims. Starting Tuesday evening (2/1) until today (3/1) has continuously distributed support to flood victims in four areas including Jakarta with four emergency posts, 9 posts in Bekasi, 6 posts in Tangerang, and 1 post in Bogor.  

The total value of assistance distributed reached 200 million Rupiah. As for assistance distributed such as staple materials, instant noodles, biscuits, clean water, medicines, food and clothing necessities, as well as safety and evacuation for victims trapped in floods. CSR action taken by PT PGAS Solution team together with CSR from PT PGN and supported by Indonesian National Armed Forces Transportation Unit of the Land Forces of BatuJajar Depok ensured assistance was delivered swiftly and right on target.

In addition to providing assistance, PGASOL Team has also assisted the evacuation process of PGN Group employees who were caught in the flood. Until early in the morning, PGASOL team together with PGN CSR team were on the ready and standby anytime to assist flood victims. 

Chaedar, acting Chief Director of PT PGAS Solution stated: “ PT PGAS Solution needs to be empathetic and united, as the “team work” culture in SOLUTION culture. Helping each other, completing each other, supporting each other, not only internally but towards those who are impacted by the flood. This is the true meaning of sharing GOOD ENERGY in its best.” 

This is demonstrated by using Bekasi and Tangerang offices to serve as PGN Group Emergency posts. It enables PT PGAS Solution to be truly present in sharing Good Energy, not only to its workers but also the surrounding community who are flood victims.
