Jakarta, February 11th, 2020 – Today, Tuesday February 11th 2020, a HSSE Seminar was held by PT PGAS Solution as part of the National Operational Safety & Health Month at Luminor Hotel, Pecenongan, Jakarta. The theme was “Optimizing Self Reliant Communities with a K3 Culture in a Revolutionary Era Industry 4.0 Information Technology based”. In 2019, PT PGAS Solution has also successfully held a K3 Seminar commemorating The National Operational Safety & Health Month themed Industrial Hygiene.
This event was attended by the Supervising Director of K3 Norm from the Indonesian Ministry of Labor, Director of Water Quality Monitoring from the Indonesian Ministry of Environment & Forestry, HSSE PT PGN Tbk Head Division , HSSE Division PT PGAS Solution and invitees of HSSE associates. The theme in the 2020 seminar this time is to remind all of us that today’s industry is moving in alignment with the growth of technology towards revolutionary industry 4.0. With cutting edge technology today, we are able to make use every means necessary to continuously improve HSSE culture in the company.
At exactly 08.00 am Indonesian time, the event opened by welcoming key speakers and followed by PT PGAS Solution launching one of its innovative products as a form of PT PGAS Solutions commitment towards environmental sustainability.
The tool works to detect the quality of water waste linked to a report system sent to the Ministry of Environment, such that water waste that eventually will be flown to the river will meet environmental quality standards. A tool that has five sensors that are able to detect pH, Total Solid Suspended, Chemical Oxygen Demand, Flowmeter, and Ammonia Nitrogent is called SOLWATY. SOLWATY has also passed a connectivity test with the Ministry of Environment.
Santi Hairunissa as HSSE Head Division states: “With this event, we wish that implementation and concerns about the environment becomes our responsibility, not only the responsibility between companies, but working together to implement this as a form of concern towards the environment as a whole.”
