Jakarta – PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) held a kick off meeting for several work contracts for the maintenance of natural gas distribution and transmission assets belonging to PGN and the Central Government which was held at the Grha PGAS Building, PGN Head Office on Wednesday (10/01).

Attended by PGN President Director Arief Setiawan Handoko, PGN Sales and Operations Director Ratih Esti Prihatini, as well as the entire PGN Solution Board of Directors. These three works refer to the ISO series standards in order to achieve optimal effectiveness in natural gas infrastructure management.

This activity is the starting point of 3 (three) PGN Solution work contracts, such as Operation Infrastructure Reliability Asset Management (MARIO), JARGAS APBN Asset Management Work (PAJ) and Gas Management System (SIMAG).

"This kick off meeting is not only a marker for the resumption of monitoring and maintenance activities for the gas network owned by PGN or the government. However, it is also a symbol of the synergy between PGN and PGN Solution in maintaining the security and stability of natural gas distribution for the community. I hope that in this work we can maintain the integrity of each other's performance, in order to achieve operational excellence, and continue to prioritize work safety and security according to the standards that have been set." Arief said.

PGN Solution will carry out operation and maintenance of natural gas distribution and transmission infrastructure, ranging from residential, commercial to industrial sectors. Reflected in Operational Infrastructure Reliability Asset Management (MARIO), and the two other works that have been formalized through this activity.

“Through carrying out this work, we continue to strive to improve worker competency. "Apart from that, we will always try to ensure the availability of investments in tools to support inspection work and maintenance of natural gas infrastructure such as LMM in order to optimize the maintenance and control of gas infrastructure which is our responsibility." Sabaruddin said.

Laser Methane Mini (LMM) is a gas leak detection tool that is used in almost every field work at PGN Solution, such as MARIO which is the management and maintenance of gas distribution pipe land. Meanwhile, SIMAG focuses on data collection, maintenance and integration of gas usage measurement instruments, as well as APBN Gas Network Asset Management (PAJ), which is a central government gas network maintenance activity.

These three works are nothing but a form of PGN Group's commitment to ensuring optimal quality of infrastructure and transmission assets of natural gas distribution in Indonesia.
