Jakarta – PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) held a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing event with PT Mandiri Migas Pratama Kaltim (MMP Kaltim) on Friday (16/8). The agreement under the memorandum of understanding covers the fields Engineering, Procurement, and Construction, Operation & Maintenance, Supply Chain,and Manpower Supply in the field of oil and natural gas.

Taking place in the External Meeting Room Building C, PGN Head Office, West Jakarta, this event was also attended by the Director of Strategy and Business Development of PGN, along with the entire board of directors of PGN Solution and MMP Kaltim.

In her speech, PGN's Director of Strategy and Business Development, Rosa Permata Sari, expressed her hope for the contribution of both parties to take part in the oil and gas and renewable energy industry. "Currently Pertamina, especially in East Kalimantan, is not only focusing on its business in the carbon realm, but also its stream business in upstream energy. So the hope is that this synergy will not only move for carbon businesses, but how can the concept of MMP and PGASOL bring renewable energy.”

It is hoped that this collaboration can increase the movement for energy network development, especially in the East Kalimantan region and its surroundings. Both parties hope to be able to unite their common vision and goals, in order to optimize the results of cooperation that will take place on an ongoing basis.

“In fact, East Kalimantan is our home too. There, we have built the Senipah - Balikpapan gas pipeline network, as well as an Air Refueling Depot. Apart from that, it is hoped that this collaboration can be initiated for several project such as EPC, O&M, Supply Chain, as well as pipe infrastructure work offshore. "Through this collaboration, we will also expand the reach of other types of work, including renewable energy," said PGN Solution President Director Sabaruddin.

On the same occasion, the Main Director of MMP Kaltim, Edy Kurniawan, expressed his appreciation and hope for the collaboration that has officially been established. “Today I am very grateful to PGN and PGN Solution. With the signing of this MoU, hopefully we can increase our competence and portfolio in our work as an energy network management company. Like PGN Solution, we at MMP Kaltim always carry out business activities with a commitment to good corporate governance in order to carry out healthy business activities," he said.
