Balikpapan – PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) participated in the 2023 World Environment Day Commemoration activities organized by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry on 10-11 May 2023. World Environment Day is celebrated on 5 June every year, this commemoration is a momentum It is important to increase awareness of the importance of protecting the environment. On this occasion, PGN Solution also enlivened it by presenting a food truck that was equipped with a natural gas installation. The food truck runs along the Fun Race route which crosses Balikpapan City, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, North Penajam Paser Regency, and Point Zero Nusantara. Head of the K3PL and Security Division of PGN Solution Astrid Taruli Debora said "This food truck has been installed such as a stove, water heater, generator, cupboard coolers, dispensers, rice cookers, microwave ovens, irons and gas dryers. With the food truck, it is hoped that it can become a forum for socializing the public that natural gas is environmentally friendly energy, whether used for transportation fuel or for community needs." The series of activities for Environment Day 2023, namely Beach Cleaning, is carried out simultaneously by approximately 30 stakeholders spread across 48 points in Indonesia. In this activity, PGN Solution together with PGN participated at Kuala Penet Beach, East Lampung Regency. "This beach clean-up activity is expected to raise awareness of all parties to be able to protect and maintain environmental sustainability, especially from plastic pollution and other pollutants," said Astrid Taruli Debora.
