Jakarta – PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) and the LEMIGAS Oil and Gas Testing Center signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as a form of inauguration of cooperation in the aspects of Testing, Calibration and Procurement of Goods and other Services in the oil and gas sector, as well as utilization of oil and gas laboratory facilities. This collaboration is also expected to increase awareness of the importance of implementing Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) aspects in every project work, in order to create a safe and secure work environment.

Located at the Office of the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Jl. HR Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta on Monday (25/3), the signing of the MOU was attended by the Directorate General of Oil and Gas, Head of LEMIGAS, Main Director of PGN, Main Director of PGN Solution, and all directors and management of PGN, PGN Solution, and PT Solusi Energi Nusantara (SENA).

The signing of this MoU is an effort by both parties to increase business cooperation, worker competence and expertise. PGN Solution and LEMIGAS will continue to improve operational quality through exchanging information and knowledge, holding workshops, seminars and other activities related to oil and natural gas.

"I hope that this activity can be carried out well and correctly by paying attention to Schedule, Cost and Quality values. The schedule must be on time, costs must not be exceeded, and quality must be carefully considered so that the benefits produced are more optimal. "Because if we are observant, this collaboration is a huge opportunity to reap many benefits." Said the Director General of Oil and Gas, Prof. Ir. Tutuka Ariadji, MSc, PHD.

Apart from that, the Main Director of Pertamina Gas Negara, Arief Setiawan Handoko, also said, "It is hoped that this collaboration between PGASOL and LEMIGAS will be a 'Palugada' collaboration. We can see that the contents of the cooperation written in today's MoU will be implemented in various fields. Starting from testing, calibration, procurement of goods and services, certification, knowledge sharing, workshops, and so on. It's truly an 'anything goes' collaboration. The synergy is extraordinary, and I am sure it can reap benefits for the nation and state."

A number of oil and gas projects that have been carried out by PGN Solution include the Tambak Lorok Offtake Station, construction of household gas lines in Wajo Regency and Banggai Regency, Replacement of the Rokan WK Oil Pipeline, Pengapon - Boyolali Oil Pipeline and development of natural gas infrastructure in the Kendal Industrial Area (KIK) - Mangkang & Batang Integrated Industrial Area (KIT).

The signing of a memorandum of understanding by both parties has become the green light for the start of a series of synergistic activities between PGN Solution and LEMIGAS over the next 3 years, in order to increase excellence in responding to the energy needs of society by prioritizing work skills and safety.

From the aspect of work safety, PGN Solution is a company operating in the EPC, O&M and Supply Chain sectors with a wide work area spread so it has high work risks. Therefore, for PGN Solution, implementing HSSE is the key to the Company's business sustainability which needs special attention.

PGASOL is committed to implementing HSSE aspects as a whole in the PGAS Sol work environment by implementing the ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001, and SMK3 PP 50/2012 Integration Management System. During the work, PGASOL achieved 14,381,170 safe working hours.

"Furthermore, PGASOL provides competent resources, increases competence through training & certification, provides appropriate equipment, and so on. Apart from that, PGASOL as a contractor always fulfills the HSSE program and procedures determined by the client. To ensure that the HSSE program is carried out, the K3PL and PGASOL Security Divisions carry out periodic monitoring and audits. "Management also reviews the work and implementation of HSSE regularly," explained Sabaruddin.
