Jakarta, May 22, 2025 – A strong collaboration between PGN Solution and SOR 2 of PT PGN Tbk has resulted an outstanding achievement by winning the Gold Award at the  Annual Pertamina Quality Award (APQA)  2025, an event organized by PT Pertamina (Persero) and held at Hotel Borobudur, Jakarta, on Monday, May 19.

Representing  the Gas Subholding, PGN Solution, together with the PC-PROVE WORKSHOP KINGDOM X SOR 2 team, presented a solution that successfully prevented revenue losses of more than  IDR 4 billion during the replacement of measurement equipment at the PLN Indonesia Power Cilegon Gas Station, PT PGN Tbk SOR 2. The innovation ensured accurate measurement and continuous reliability in natural gas distribution to customers.

The APQA is an annual awards program organized by PT Pertamina (Persero) to recognize innovation and continuous improvement programs from all Business Units and Subsidiaries within the Pertamina Group. Carrying the theme “Sustainable Innovation for Nusantara’s Energy Resilience,” this 15th edition is a testament to Pertamina’s ongoing commitment to embedding innovation as a core part of its business practices.

The PC-PROVE WORKSHOP KINGDOM X SOR 2 team showcased an innovation utilizing a gas metering simulator tool (SolMetsos), designed to accelerate the replacement process of a flow computer at the PLN IP Cilegon Gas Station. This solution was developed in response to a gas metering calibration failure in June 2023, when the flow computer was damaged and no spare units were available. With SolMetsos, the replacement process that previously required 30 hours was successfully reduced to just 6 hours, without compromising the reliability of gas distribution to customers.
