Bogor – PT PGAS Solution (PGN Solution) is holding another program Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), by carrying out the construction of wells as a source of clean water, as well as assistance in improving the quality of education for the community. The social activity was held in Parung Santen RT Village. 003/003, Sukamulya Village, Sukamakmur District, Bogor Regency, West Java on Thursday (17/10).
Also attended by Corporate Secretary PGN Solution, Ris Haryono, The CSR program was held at the Ghoutsul Adhom 165 Islamic Boarding School. An educational institution that exists independently, with minimal financial support from donors. So the boarding school administrators have a little difficulty providing adequate facilities for the students.
Apart from financial constraints, the Islamic boarding school has operational constraints due to the difficulty of getting a clean water supply for bathing, washing, and so on. Until now, residents of the Ghoutsul Adhom 165 Islamic Boarding School meet their water needs by relying on springs where the water is murky and unfit for consumption. Even if the springs are dry, they often rely on rainwater collected in the bathroom roof, to be used as a substitute.
In order to improve the quality of life of Pondok residents, PGN Solution provides assistance in the form of compensation, basic necessities, as well as livestock and their cages, so that they can be bred and provide additional income for Pondok managers. It is hoped that this additional income can be used to build better educational facilities for the students.
Apart from that, the solutionation workers also built wells as a medium for exploiting clean groundwater, as well as establishing a place of study to be used by the santri and female students. This clean water can replace water that is not fit for consumption which is still used by students for their daily needs.
