Jakarta - In a series of HIV/AIDS Prevention Programs (P2HIV/AIDS) and P2COVID, PGN Solution carried out outreach and education activities regarding PGN Solution's HIV/AIDS for all workers on Friday (31/12). HIV/AIDS cannot be underestimated. Through this program, PGN Solution collaborates with the Taman Sari District Health Center to carry out online health education on the prevention and management of HIV AIDS and Covid-19.

“HIV/AIDS cannot yet be cured, but we can reduce the amount of virus in the blood with treatment. The way to detect HIV/AIDS can be done through blood tests. HIV/AIDS cannot be transmitted by sharing a house with an infected person, swimming, shaking hands, eating together, hugging, or mosquito/insect bites," said Dr. Serla as a doctor at the Taman Sari District Health Center. In Indonesia, there is still a lot of stigma and discrimination against HIV/AIDS sufferers, this can slow down HIV testing, hide the status of reactive test results, and not seek HIV services, thereby hampering treatment for sufferers.

Head of PGN Solution's K3PL and Security Division, Santi Hairunissa, said, "This activity has been routinely carried out by PGN Solution for 8 years. PGN Solution is committed to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS in the company and there is no discrimination against PLWHA and PLHIV. It is hoped that this activity can support the three zero program. "In addition to health education on preventing and controlling HIV AIDS and Covid-19, several examinations include screening for TB, Covid-19, cervical cancer and non-communicable diseases for 100 workers.

This HIV/AIDS examination has the aim of preventing HIV/AIDS so that can create a work environment that is safe, healthy and protected from HIV/AIDS. Apart from that, there are other tests besides HIV such as TB and Cervical Cancer." Concluded Santi Hairunissa.
