Through a letter appointing the winner of the Pengapon
Boyolali Pipeline work No. 252/PNG230000/2023-S7 dated 16 May 2023 from PT
Pertamina Patra Niaga, PGN Solution became the winner of the open tender. Where
PGN Solution follows all processes and prepares everything required by the
Employer. In the appointment letter, PGN Solution is stated as
the executor, with the name Pengapon Boyolali Pipeline Works with a work value
of around 570 billion Rupiah. In this work, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, through
the Directorate of Land Engineering and Infrastructure, intends to build a new
pipeline that can distribute BBM or Gasoline products from the Semarang Group
BBM Terminal (Pengapon) to the Boyolali BBM Terminal.
In order to prepare for the resilience of fuel needs
in Boyolali and its surroundings, as well as the Central Java region. The
project location is a ROW (Right of Way) route with a 12 inch diameter steel
pipe measuring ± 81.5 kilometers which will cross several areas of Semarang
Regency, Mranggen to Kedoya Semarang. "The construction of the Pengapon Boyolali
Pipeline was carried out using a Tie-In (connecting) process from the old
Pertamina Pipeline CY-III line and the Pertagas ROW, where for security the
pipeline is equipped with an ESDV Section, Block Valve Station and other
operational support equipment. This work is being carried out with a target
time of approximately 24 months." Said Lebinner Sinaga, Director of Engineering and
Development at PGN Solution.
Previously, sending fuel products used sea routes,
which required quite a long time and large costs, with the construction of the
Pengapon Boyolali pipeline, it can reduce freight costs (transportation costs)
for ship modes for gas oil products from RU (Refinery). Unit) IV Cilacap to
Pengapon BBM Terminal. Apart from that, it also reduces Jetty Occupancy at
the RU (Refinery Unit) IV Cilacap pier by diverting Gasoline supply injection
from TBBM Lomanis to TBBM Pengapon. Sabaruddin said, "PGN Solution is
committed to this pipeline construction work, apart from being able to maintain
fuel stocks and preventing potential supply failures from Pengapon to Boyolali,
fuel needs can also be distributed smoothly to areas around Central Java.
"Therefore, PGN Solution is proud to contribute
to the development of the country through the Pengapon Boyolali Pipeline
Work." The Boyolali – Pengapon pipeline project is a form of synergy in
the distribution of real good energy and can have a positive impact on the
development of the Central Java region.
