Synergy to Awaken Nation's Energy
The demand for energy is on the rise alongside
population growth and the revival of industrial sectors
post-pandemic. Pursuant to the data from the
Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM),
the Government aims for oil production to reach 1
million barrels of oil per day (BOPD) and natural gas
production to hit 12 billion standard cubic feet per
day (BSCFD) by 2030.
The gas reserves recorded in 2023 indicate that
Indonesia has proven natural gas reserves stand
at approximately 35.3 trillion cubic feet (TCF), with
proven oil reserves reaching 2.41 billion barrels of
oil (BBO).
Unlocking these untapped energy sources
necessitates comprehensive collaboration, both
internally and externally, aimed at optimizing all
sectors and promoting constructive cooperation
